On April 21, 2026, the Secretariat held the regular meeting of the National Council for Economy and Investment, which was successfully conducted in a constructive spirit.
During the meeting, issues of importance to improving Kosovo’s business and investment climate were discussed, including the challenges and recommendations related to the legislation on the use of public property, as well as the recognition of losses of agricultural and food products for tax purposes.
It is particularly encouraging that there was a clear commitment expressed during the meeting to continue working toward addressing both of these issues, which have been consistently raised by the private sector as important for a more favorable environment for economic development and investment.
In addition to these topics, other issues of relevance to the private sector were also discussed, making this meeting another important step in strengthening public-private dialogue and steering discussions toward concrete solutions.
Thank you to all participants for their contribution, open discussion, and commitment.
