Today, both private and public sectors gathered for a discussion on the challenges faced by businesses in accessing the electricity grid. The forum brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including business representatives, business chambers, donor projects on the energy sector, representatives from the Ministry of Economy, the Energy Regulatory Office, the Electricity Distribution Operator (KEDS), and the main electricity supplier (KESCO).
The dialogue proved productive, with narratives from business representatives shedding light on the main issues, as well as actionable recommendations to enhance electricity grid accessibility.
As key areas for improvement, the following were apparent:
